Dakar 2010: Penalizan a Coma seis horas.

Cambiar una rueda le ha costado una penalización de seis horas al vigente campeón del Dakar. Al parecer alrededor del km 220 el piloto se habría parado cerca de una casa lejos del recorrido para cambiar una goma pinchada, acción ilegal en el reglamento del Dakar. Depres fue quien advirtió y denunció que la rueda trasera de Coma estaba demasiado nueva como para haber hecho con ella la primera parte de la etapa, y los comisarios tras comprobar en el GPS de Coma que efectivamente había hecho una parada fuera del recorrido, inspeccionar el camión del equipo y hablar con el propio piloto decidieron que no debía estar entre los 20 primeros clasificados.

Sinceramente es dificil saber si Marc Coma cambió la rueda o no. Él lo niega rotundamente y califica la decisión de “completamente injusta”. Lo cierto es que no podemos saber con certeza si lo hizo o no, y hay un principio en Derecho que dice: “Más vale 100 culpables en la calle que un inocente en la cárcel”. El perjuicio ocasionado al resto de pilotos por Coma al cambiar la rueda es inmensamente menor que el que se le puede hacer a al propio Coma si se le penaliza siendo inocente. Espero sinceramente que los comisarios tengas pruebas que demuestren sin lugar a dudas que el piloto catalán cambio la rueda, porque su continuidad está, ahora mismo, en el aire.
