No debemos olvidar que el MP4 12-C se puso a la venta en 2011, con los coletazos del matrimonio con Mercedes-Benz aún pendientes. Con Ron Dennis empeñado en fabricar Ãntegramente un vehÃculo de altas prestaciones, la apuesta estaba cantada.
El P1 nace con vocación de rompedor, pero tiene que afrontar la realidad de que los capos del sector llevan 50 años afinando sus máquinas, y ponerse al mismo nivel de prestaciones  supone que el anterior modelo ya era más caro que el Ferrari 458 Italia y el Lamborghini Gallardo. Asà que la pregunta es ¿te comprarÃas un McLaren cuando podrÃas invertir ese dinero en el Batmovil, o en un Ferrari para legar a tus hijos?
