Se ha hecho esperar, pero ya tenemos aquà el Volkswagen Passat CC 2012, que será presentado oficialmente en el Salón del Automovil de Los Ãngeles. Tras cuatro años en el mercado, la marca alemana actualiza su modelo con algunos cambios en el aspecto exterior e interior, y especialmente en el equipamiento, que ahora es más amplio, tanto en la dotación de serie como en la opcional. Por tanto no hablamos de un modelo nuevo si no de una renovación del anterior.
Cómo podéis ver, por fuera cambian ligeramente los paneles frontal y trasero, y el diseño de los pilotos es nuevo. Llama la atención la nueva forma que tienen las luces traseras, mucho más parecidas ahora a las que tiene el Volkswaguen Passat. No estoy seguro si esto es bueno (más uniformidad en la gama e identificación de marca) o malo (menos distinción y por tanto motivos para adquirirlo, con su hermano de carrocerÃa tradicional).
En cuanto al equipamiento, como decÃamos más arriba ahora es más completo. De hecho de serie ahora monta faros bi-xenón, luces estáticas de curva, faros LED traseros, detector de fatiga, equipo de música con preparación Bluetooth, placas de las estriberas de las puertas en acero inoxidable y reposacabezas de seguridad con ajuste longitudinal adicional en los asientos de delante.
Opcionalmente ahora se puede equipar con detector de ángulo muerto (con intervención directa en la dirección en caso de accidente inminente), luces adaptativas, lector de señales y asientos ventilados con función de masaje.
Desde un punto de vista mecánico sabemos pocas cosas, aunque la marca si ha adelantado algunos detalles. Por ejemplo sabemos que todos los modelos (diesel y gasolina), llevarán de serie el sistema de Start/Stop con el modo de regeneración de la baterÃa (para recuperar la energÃa de frenado).
La marca también ha desvelado que en Europa, el Volkswagen Passat CC estará disponible con dos motores diesel de 140 y 170 CV de potencia, y con tres gasolina, de 160, 210 y 300 CV. Hasta aquà los detalles que por el momento han sido desvelados, habrá que esperar unos 15 dÃas para saber todos los detalles sobre este Volkswagen.
