Hace años se decÃa que un Porsche se conduce con el acelerador, y no con los frenos. En Porsche lo saben, y demuestran que no es necesario un vehÃculo extraordinariamente potente disfrutar de la conducción. Sin lugar a dudas, las nuevas motorizaciones del Panamera dan buen ejemplo de ello.
Según responsables de la marca, se ha buscado no sólo ajustar el precio de los modelos de acceso a la gama (que ahora se sitúan en 85.000 euros), si no conservar el carácter deportivo en motores atmosféricos de seis cilindros. Hablar del encanto de los V6 que producen desde hace décadas cobra un sentido especial cuando recordamos que es la configuración elegida para el 911.
Y hablando de tradiciones, el recién llegado contará la posibilidad de pedir el cambio automático de doble embrague, PDK, asà como de la tracción integral. Los modelos dotados con ésta última se denominan, como en el resto de la gama, Panamera 4.
Nosotros tuvimos la oportunidad de dar una vuelta a bordo de la versión Turbo, que homologa 500 cv; la experiencia fue casi violenta, y en ningún caso un conductor sin formación como piloto podrÃa ser capaz de aprovechar al máximo las cualidades dinámicas que demostró el Panamera.
Quiero decir que, salvo para dejarse mecer por las cifras, los 300 cv que rinden los nuevos motores son más que suficientes para que cada viaje familiar se convierta en unas pequeñas vacaciones. De los sentidos, al menos.
