Después del aluvión de novedades en el Salón de Automóvil de Ginebra, toca hacer el primer balance de este edición. En primer lugar, creo que todos coincidiremos en que la cantidad de propuestas y modelos presentados indican que 2012 está siendo un buen año para el Salón.
Se han presentado varias primicias mundiales, como el Mercedes-Benz Clase A, el Audi A3 o el Ferrari 612GT, y me atreverÃa a decir que la sensación general es que este Ginebra 2012 empieza por fin a parecerse al que veÃamos antes de la llegada de la crisis financiera.
Además, como es normal, la movilidad ha tenido su importancia, parece que esta se ha ponderado de una manera más racional. Esto se debe en parte a la orientación de la industria hacia la creación de un entorno multimedia en el automóvil. Por poner un ejemplo, el nuevo Mercedes-Clase A tendrá la posibilidad de manejar el iPhone (y su asistente electrónica) por control por voz. El Peugeot 208 también tendrá la posibilidad de instalar nuevas apps con las que disfrutar de su sistema de infotaiment.
Además, hoy mismo, qué casualidad, la CE ha dicho que apoyará más que nunca la industria automovilÃstica, y buena falta le hace. Veremos en qué queda, pero parece que los nubarrones tienen un aspecto menos amenazador.
