No es el primer intento de Toyota, que lleva desde prácticamente el año 2003 presentando propuestas similares. Sin embargo, y he aquà la importancia de este modelo, el iRoad es el primero que cuenta con argumento realmente sólidos para transformar la movilidad de nuestras ciudades.

La única deventaja que tiene el modelo japonés reside en su precio, que no se conoce todavÃa, pero que será más alto que el del Renault), y en su autonomÃa, que se perfila como algo justa con 50 km ya que hay que tener en cuenta que el sistema de climatización hará que esta sea aún más baja.
